Fix Microsoft Windows Blue Screen of Death

Windows 7 has done amazingly well since its launch and among the most like operating system. The popularity still exists when there is Windows 8 in the market, the features are unbelievable and the best of all is the convenience it offers. However, there is a problem associated with it and most of Windows 7 users are really tired of it. It is Blue Screen of Death, to people who are not technically sound, it appear like a blue screen with some error code on it.
Where Do Windows Blue Screen Errors Come FromIt’s a display with a short explanation of an error with sad expression and BSOD is the abbreviation of it. Blue Screen Errors looks much more of an exaggeration but this is something unavoidable but can be take care of with regular maintenance. The most common reason for this is PC memory and it appears something like DATA_BUS_ERROR 0x0000002E. When making use of low quality memory chip, it is sure to fail and gives and error. The problem can be fixed by modifying the CMOS setting and making changes in the delay time (normally change from 3 to 2). However, if this doesn’t work then you will have to replace theBlue Screen of Death memory with high quality memory bank for your system.
Another reason for Blue Screen Windows 7 could be the main board or the CPU. The one with the main board asks for a replacement while MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION 0x0000009C error for CPU occurs because of over clocking. This increase the voltage which gives a boost to the thermal output and this will cause a physical damage. To prevent this, the fan needs to be checked continuously and make sure that CPU doesn’t heat and there is no faulty power supply. Even wrong installation of hardware driver can cause BSOD and looks like INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE 0x0000007B. Be careful while installing and updating anything new on the system especially the device drivers.
Wrong installation can give a blue screen error but this is nothing to worry about. You can uninstall the drivers and get back to work on your system. Various other reasons responsible for BSOD conflict with an anti-virus, corrupted NTFS file system, L2 Ram cache or delay in Run application. The reasons could be many but a technically sound professional can understand the error code and assist you to Fix Blue Screen. It either asks for an uninstallation of a part of the system needs to be changed. Windows 7 has been facing this issue and about 80% of the users might have suffered from this one day or the other. You need to see if the problem is frequent or just appears once in a while. Minor issues can be repaired with a system restore as it will take your system to a previous date when your computer was working absolutely fine. Every BSOD is related to something or the other and making few changes and give you a system that will not cause that problem again. You can identify the problem yourself but if unable to do so, you can even get n touch with the online technical support or remote access to get rid of it permanently.

How to fix Hal.dll missing in windows

Hal.dll missing displays in different ways. Those are

  • C:\Windows\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file."
  • "Cannot find \Windows\System32\hal.dll"
  • "C:\Windows\System32\Hal.dll missing or corrupt:
Please re-install a copy of the above file."
those are the common ways which I have seen.

How to fix

try to restart the PC ..some times it automatically

correct. So no need to worry.Bt unfortunately i not

happens check the BIOS is configured so the boot

order first lists a hard drive other than the one with

your usually-used copy of Windows installed on it,

that might be the problem. If there is a corruption of

the hal.dll when we do a start up repair,it will

fix.otherwise update the volume boot code to use

BOOTMGR. If the volume boot code has corrupted or

is configured for a boot manager other than

BOOTMGR then you might see a hal.dll is missing

error. An issue with the volume boot code is the most

common cause of hal.dll errors in Windows 7, 8, or

Vista. The reason I list it as the fourth troubleshooting

step is because the first three are so simple to try.

However, if you're comfortable working with advanced

tools in Windows, feel free to give this one a shot

first. Also check your Hard disk is not corrupted and

works well.If these efforts in vain,No use to try to fix

these ways.Format your hard disk and do a fresh

windows install

Always be happy with error free

How to Solve error: 40 in SQL - Could not open a connection to SQL Server

The error "error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server" istelf can be caused by several reasons.  The
additional error code often helps to narrow down the problem.
For example, the original post lists this:

"... (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL
 Server, Error: 2)"

- error 40 is generated by the SqlClient provider, and is somehwat generic in this case.

- error 2 is the "winerror" that comes from the OS, and is more specific: ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND in this case

ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND most frequently indicates that the client attempted a connection to the *local* SQL
Server but the server is either not available, not running, or not accepting connections.  One possibility is that
the server was specified as ".", "(local)" (or ".\SQLEXPRESS", "(local)\SQLEXPRESS").  If a connection to a remote
server is desired the actual name of the server must be used instead of ".".

With regard to connections to a default instance server that listens on a non-stadard TCP port: Client Network
Utility cannot be used to configure the default target TCP port used by .Net Fraemwork 2.0 (or VS2005).  You
either need to specify the port in the connection string, e.g. if the port is 1500 you can specify
"targetServer,1500", or you can create an alias specifying the TCP port (here, Client Network Utility can be used).

How To Fix a 502 Bad Gateway Error

"The 502 Bad Gateway error"

means that one server received an invalid

response from another server that it was accessing

while attempting to load the web page or fill another

request by the browser .

How To Fix the 502 Bad Gateway Error

  1. Try to Load the Page by refreshing it Using F5
  2. While the 502 Bad Gateway error is usually indicating a networking error outside of your control, it could be extremely temporary. Trying the page again will often be successful.
  3. Open a different browser and try to load the web page in there

  4. Clear your browser's cache. Outdated or corrupted files that are being stored by your browser could be causing 502 Bad Gateway issues.
  5. Delete your browser's cookies. For similar reasons as mentioned above with cached files, clearing stored cookies could fix a 502 error.

  6. Start your browser in Safe Mode. Running a browser in Safe Mode means to run it with default settings and without add-ons or extensions, including toolbars.

If the 502 error no longer appears when running your browser in Safe Mode, you know that some browser extension or setting is the cause of the problem. Return your browser settings to default and/or selectively disable browser extensions to find the root cause and permanently fix the problem.
  7. Try another browser. Popular browsers include FirefoxChromeInternet Explorer, andSafari, among others.

How To Fix the 503 Service Unavailable Error

The 503 Service Unavailable error is an HTTP status code that

means the web site's server is simply not available right now. Most

of the time this is because the server is too busy or because there's

maintenance being performed on it.

How To Fix the 503 Service Unavailable Error

The 503 Service Unavailable error is a server-side error, meaning the problem is usually with the web site's server. It's possible that your computer is having some kind of problem that's causing the 503 error but it's not likely.
Regardless, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Retry the URL from the address bar again by clicking the reload/refresh button or pressing F5.

Even though the 503 Service Unavailable error means that there's an error on another computer, the issue is probably only temporary. Sometimes just trying the page again will work.

Imporant: If the 503 Service Unavailable error message appears while paying for an online purchase, be aware that multiple attempts to checkout may end up creating multiple orders - and multiple charges! Most payment systems, and some credit card companies, have protections from this kind of thing but it's still something to be aware of.
  2. Come back later. The 503 Service Unavailable error is a common error message on very popular websites when a huge increase in traffic by visitors (that's you!) is overwhelming the servers.

As more and more visitors leave the website, the chances of a successful page load for you increases.
  3. Restart your router and then your computer, especially if you're seeing the "Service Unavailable - DNS Failure" error.

While the 503 error is still most likely the fault of the web site you're visiting, it's possible that there's an issue with your computer's or router's DNS server configurations and a simple restart of both might fix the problem.

Tip: If resetting your equipment didn't correct the 503 DNS Failure error, there may be temporary issues with the DNS servers themselves. In this case, pick new DNS servers from my Free & Public DNS Servers List and change them on your computer or router. SeeHow To Change DNS Servers if you need help.
  4. Contact the webmaster. There's a very good chance that the website administrators are already working on fixing the 503 error but you can always try to contact the website directly if think that might not be the case.

How To Fix the 404 Not Found Error

  1. Retry the web page by pressing F5, clicking the refresh/reload button, or trying the URL from the address bar again.

The 404 Not Found error might appear for several reasons even though no real issue exists, so sometimes a simple refresh will often load the page you were looking for.
  2. Check for errors in the URL. Often times the 404 Not Found error appears because the URL was typed wrong or the link that was clicked on points to the wrong URL.
  3. Move up one directory level at a time in the URL until you find something.

For example, if www.web.com/a/b/c.htm gave you the 404 Not Found error, move up to www.web.com/a/b/. If you get nothing here (or an error), move up towww.web.com/a/. This should lead you toward what you're looking for or at least confirm that it's no longer available.

Tip: If you have moved all the way up to the website's homepage, try to run a search for the information you're looking for. If the site doesn't have a search function, try navigating to the page you want using category links to dig deeper into the site.
  4. Search for the page at a popular search engine. It's possible that you simply have the entirely wrong URL in which case a quick Google or Bing search should get you where you want to go.

If you do find the page you were after, update your bookmark or favorite to avoid the HTTP 404 error in the future.
  5. Clear your browser's cache if you have any indication that the 404 Not Found message might just be yours. For example, if you can reach the URL from your phone but not from your tablet, clearing the cache on your tablet's browser might help.

You might also consider clearing your browser's cookies, or at least the one(s) involved with the website in question, if clearing the cache didn't work.
  6. Change the DNS servers used by your computer but usually only if an entire website is giving you a 404 error, especially if the website is available to those on other networks (e.g. your mobile phone network or a friend in another city).

404's on an entire website isn't particularly common unless your ISP or government filters/censors websites. No matter the reason, if it does happen, giving another set of DNS servers a try is a good step to take. See my Public DNS Servers List for some alternatives.
  7. Finally, if all else fails, contact the website directly. If they've removed the page you're after then the 404 error is completely legitimate and they should be able to tell you that. If they've moved the page, and are generating 404's instead of redirecting visitors to the new page, they might be very happy to hear from you.
